The Yarden Petit Verdot exhibits ripe red and black fruit notes, along with characters of spice, flowers, tobacco, chocolate, and French oak. This flavorful and full-bodied wine displays a bit of tannic structure, which is typical to the variety.
While enjoyable now, the Yarden Petit Verdot should improve in the bottle for a number of years, and stay in excellent drinking condition for years to come. We love pairing the wine with rich meat dishes such as tender osso buco or slow-cooked lamb spareribs, or an assortment of aged and smoked cheeses.
