Yarden Malbec features ripe aromas of mulberry, cherry, plum, and blackberry along with hints of dried flowers, tobacco, spices and earth.
This is a full-bodied wine that features complexity and a long finish.
While Yarden Malbec is ready to drink as soon as it comes out, the wine will continue to thrive in the bottle in the coming years and in proper storage conditions will be kept at its best for about a decade or more from the vintage year.
Wine and food
We enjoy drinking the wine alongside a slice of roasted lamb chops in thyme and rosemary or a vegetarian cheeseburger from Portobello mushrooms and blue cheese.
Yarden Malbec is made entirely of Malbec grapes that were harvested in Kerem Einot Yonatan, located 700 meters above sea level. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 18 months.
The Golan Heights Winery is located in the city of Katzrin, which is in the center of the Golan.
