Milk & Honey Elements Peated is a single malt whisky crafted at the Milk & Honey Distillery in Tel Aviv, Israel. This unique expression combines traditional Scottish techniques with the distinct climate and terroir of Israel. The whisky is distilled in copper pot stills and aged in ex-bourbon and ex-Islay whisky casks, which impart the characteristic peaty notes. The hot and humid Israeli climate accelerates the maturation process, resulting in a whisky with depth and complexity in a shorter time.
The nose is rich with notes of smoky peat, intertwined with hints of vanilla, citrus, and dried fruits. The palate offers a harmonious blend of smoky flavors, complemented by sweet caramel, honey, and a touch of dark chocolate.
