Metzuda Ye'Arim 2016 is a port-style dessert wine with an unusual range of flavors. The wine was produced from Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes that were absorbed in a late harvest at a stage of high maturation. After a unique fermentation process for this style and fortification with alcohol, the wine was aged for four years in oak barrels exposed to the sun's natural wall. The aging process contributed to the wine a jammy texture and intense flavor. The wine is characterized by a deep caramel hue, aromas of dried fruit, fig honey, and hints of cocoa and allspice. This wine will serve as a perfect dessert for any festive meal.
