This Chardonnay from the Mercurey appellation was aged for about 9 months in French oak barrels. Pale straw towards light gold in color, with aromatic vnotes of golden apple, citrus and stone fruit, iodine, orange blossom and fresh cream. Medium in body, with medium intensity and nice viscosity on the palate, showing notes of juicy lemon, white peach, tart yellow plum, earthy minerals, orange blossom water, medium-plus acidity, with crème fraîche, almonds, green apple peel, and lemon zest as well as a hint of saline lingering long on the finish.
