Chateau De Santeny Mercurey White Burgundy

This Chardonnay from the Mercurey appellation is a beautifully balanced expression of Burgundy. Aged for nine months in French oak barrels, it presents a pale straw-to-light gold hue with aromatic notes of golden apple, citrus, and stone fruit, complemented by iodine, orange blossom, and fresh cream. Medium-bodied with a silky texture, it reveals flavors of juicy lemon, white peach, tart yellow plum, and earthy minerals. The bright acidity is enriched by layers of crème fraîche, almonds, green apple peel, and lemon zest, finishing with a lingering touch of saline.
