Segal Whole Cluster Pinot Noir

Segal Whole Cluster Fermentation is the expression of an old and venerable winemaking technique, before the introduction of destemming equipment. This series is another example of Segal Winery's authentic winemaking practices. Sourced from a single vineyard in the Judean Hills near Jerusalem, the grapes fermented with their stems for three weeks, then pressed gently and continued to age in French oak barrels for 15 months. The Pinot Noir is expressive, full of personality and charm, dynamic and elegant, and would reward proper cellaring.
