Enjoyable Upon Release, The Wine Should Improve In The Bottle In The Coming Years, And Stay In Good Drinking Condition For Some Ten Years From Vintage. Try Serving The Wine With A Juicy Roast Beef, Braised Lamb Shanks With Rosemary, Or Thin-Crust Garden Vegetable Pizza.
The Gamla Red Blend Is Produced From The Bordeaux Varieties Of Cabernet Sauvignon (74%), Merlot (15%), Cabernet Franc (5%), Malbec (4%) And Petit Verdot (2%). Fruit Was Harvested From Our Vineyards On The Golan Heights And Our One Vineyard In The Upper Galilee. The First Ever Release Of This Wine, The 2017 Gamla Red Blend Is A Particularly Ripe, Concentrated And Complex Member Of The Gamla Family Of Wines. The Wine Aged In French Oak Barrels For 12 Months.
